Special Educational Needs & Disabilities

At Danehill Primary School, we want to help all our pupils to achieve their potential as learners. To achieve this goal, we endeavour to support every child to overcome any barriers they may have to learning. This kind of support might involve providing resources to aid their access to the curriculum or additional adult input as part of a small group, or even one-to-one assistance.

When required, we seek advice from other professionals who are experts in their field. We also engage in training to ensure we meet these pupils’ needs as well as we possibly can. We aim to work collaboratively with the children, the parents and the supporting SEND professionals for the whole time the pupil spends at Danehill CE Primary School.
