Design and Technology

As designers and constructors, our children will be empowered to be curious and imaginative. They will research, plan, design, make and critique products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts, considering their own needs and others’ views, wants and values. They will learn to take risks, using persistence and discipline to help them become resourceful, enterprising and capable citizens. 

They will become critical thinkers. Through the evaluation of past and present design and technology, they will develop a critical understanding of its impact on daily life and the wider world.
