Life in Foxes Class

Foxes is a fun and happy place to be. As the children near the end of KS1 the academic demands begin to increase but always with the key enlivened principles at the forefront of our minds.

Meet the Class Teacher:

I am Gemma Walker. I have taught at Danehill for over eight years and have taught the Year 1/2 and Year 5/6 classes. I teach Foxes class Mondays-Wednesdays.

Danehill is a fantastic school which has allowed me to develop an Enlivened approach to teaching – an approach that I love.  There is a strong sense of communication and connection at the school, it feels like a family which supports everyone. Strong relationships are formed with all the children across the ages and amongst the staff.

I am Meghan Upton. I teach Foxes Thursdays - Fridays and also teach Hedgehogs on Wednesdays. My previous job was a Forest School teacher and I enjoy leading Outdoor Woodland Learning (OWL) for all children in Hedgehogs and Foxes class.

Meet the Teaching Assistants:

I am Emma Flower. As I live locally, I had heard about the ethos of the school and so was really excited about starting here.  I enjoy getting to know the children and their families. I support children with all their learning and especially enjoy leading woodwork sessions where children use tools carefully to create imaginative structures.

I am Tiffany Brown. I am an individual needs assistant in Foxes class. I work with the Foxes team to create an inspiring learning environment that can be accessed by all children.
